Transformers: Autarchs and Tyrants

For Millennia Cybertron has been at peace since Alpha Trion and his Defenders of Light defeated Unicron. But every society must evolve. Among the gladiatorial classes, dissent has grown against the 'privileged' in their gleaming towers on the other side of the planet. And even the Autobots, defenders of the peace among Cybertron and her colonies are unaware. Only Sentinel Prime and his confident Orion Pax believe the rumors. But they are both deceived. On the floors of the ancient council chambers, for the first time in nearly twenty millennium, sparks are extinguished in combat. Sentinel Prime is felled and the matrix must choose a new guardian. Assuming command of the unprepared Autobot forces, newly christened Optimus Prime must fight against the risen scourge of Megatron and his Decepticons. But nothing could have prepared him, or Cybertron for all-out war. Slowly, the forces of darkness advanced, bolstered by the disenfranchised from the colonies that the Autobots are no longer able to defend. Cybertron itself begins to die without explanation. The Decepticons race to extract as many resources as they can from the dying planet, while the Autobots race to save it, not knowing that the key is hidden amongst them. Only when they have lost their home, and brought terror to another world will they begin to understand Primus's ancient decree: "Freedom is the Right of all Sentient Beings."
