In his childhood, Hawk always looked to the sky. He was fascinated by the man-made objects streaking over his head with such speed and power. He attended college completing a degree in Aerospace engineering before joining the military and graduating from 1 Canadian Forces Flying Training School (1CFFTS).

Hawk comes froma well established (real loaded) family. He graduated top of his class and has seen action in numerous trouble spots. He was on attachment to the North Atlantic Command through the Canadian Security and Intelligence Service (CSIS) where he holds a joint commission, when World War III began. He was recalled to serve in the Canadian Air Corps in the Asian Front.

He held the position of Captain, leading his own squadron of fighters until the Third Battle of Bejing in World War III when he was awarded his General's star. During the battle, the combined allied air-forces were overwhelmed by anti-aircraft emplacements and as-yet unidentified experimental craft flown by the North Korean Forces. With over half of the allied forces destroyed, Hawk assumed command of those that remained, and turned the disaster into a victory that led directly to the liberation of the city.

The remainder of his file from that war has been classified at the highest levels.

His list of credits are as long as his arm, most of his experience coming where it counts - on the battlefield.Hawk is the type of commander who goes out and gets shot at like everyone else. Soldiers respect that. They know he won't ask them to do anything that he isn't willing to do himself.He knows that 10 minutes with his soldiers on a real battlefield is worth more than a year in the classroom.Keenly intelligent and perceptive, he serves as an excellent commander for both Airforce and Intelligence services within the G.I. Joe Unit.

Orion Pax served as a systems analyst and administrator at Iacon for most of his life. In his youth, he served in the mandatory service batalion required of all Cyertronians. While his superiors noted that he had an aptitiude for inspiring the other members of his unit, they noted he had little proficiency in combat.

His dedicated work at Iacon drew the attention of Sentinal Prime when he detected an undercurrent of descent amongst the gladatorial classes. He was placed in charge of a task force to evaluate the threat. Though he refused to reveal his primary inforation sources, his report to the Ruling Council indicated that there was no reason for there to be concen.

However, Pax had been decieved. Shortly after he finished his report, the Ruling Council was destroyed. In the battle, Sentinal Prime was fatally wounded, passing the matrix to Pax as a last resort with the orders to find a proper guardian for it. As war began to consume Cybertron, Pax worked tirelessly to find the one worthy of carrying it.

Pax himself was chosen by the matrix when he was abushed by Megatron and his Sweeps. Though he has often tried to pass the matrix to his two closest confidants, Ironhide and Prowl, his tireless work to preserve cybertronian culture and continued positivism in the face of destruction has earned him the title of Optimus Prime among his followers.

His war record remains abymsal, but he has succeded in surviving Megatron's continued Blitzes while all other bastions fell. His experience as an analyst has led him to seek council from all those under his command who he trusts, which has served him well to see the war from perspectives that no one else has been able to percieve. He believes this is what will turn the tide of the war, and will return freedom, the right of all sentient beings, to Cybertron and her provinces.

Little is known about Megatron's true origins. He has deliberately destroyed any record that did not suit his own purposes. The earliest known mention of him is as a gladatorial combatant in the Negs by the name Maximus Auralius.

He has never been defeated in or out of the arena, and the culture of fear allowed him to assemble an army of psychophants from those who felt exploited by the rigid Cybertronian society. Most of his followers came from the brutal gladatorial class, but his personal guard, the Sweeps, were cast-offs from Cybertronian Law Enforcement. Over three centuries, he grew his power in the darknness of Cybertron's underlevels, spreading corruption wherever he could through whatever means were necessary.

Eventually, this growing network came to the attention of young analyst Orian Pax. As Auralius, Megatron befriended Pax, guiding him throug the Gladatorial culture, and presenting him with compelling evidence that no conspiracy existed. When he had finally convinced Pax to submit his report, he had Pax followed, and launched an attack decades in the planning to eliminate the Ruling Council.

In the attack, he personally targeted the one thing that would ensure his domination of Cybertron and her territories - the Matrix. Engaging the current guardian in personal combat, he delivered a series of fatal wounds, but was bared from the killing stroke by the intervention of the General of the Cybertronian Centinals, Omega Supreme. Since this confrontation he has actively hunted the new Prime, obsessed with gaining control of the matrix.

His disatisfaction with the governance of Cybertron led him to a psychotic rage that has festered in his spark for centuries, long enough to plan its downfall. He offers no pretense of caring for those who serve him, or for the populace he seeks to dominate. All he desires is the ultimate power to make decisions on life and death as he did in the arena, but on a truely massive scale.

Cobra Commander leads the forces of Cobra in his quest for world domination. He has no conscience or honour and will stop at nothing to achieve his goals.

Born Anthony Braco, he came from a difficult home, and was bullied as a child due to his unusually high intelligence. He attended top colleges around the world furthering his education, concentrating on business and politics. Simultaneously he became involved with increasingly radical terrorist organizations. This combination of experiences led him to see the flaws in all extant political systems, and to begin to imagine his own. One that he would build by tearing down the existing world order, and creating a new one, with himself at the head.

To ths end, he has built a large network of spies who supply him with information about governments and businesses around the globe. He uses this information to expand his empire and increase his power. He amassed vast wealth from his ARBCO empire, and other, illegal means to give him his greatest desire - limitless power.

But as his power base has grown, he has come to realize that he must first achieve complete control over every nation on Earth.

He used coordinated global terrorist attacks to bring the world to its knees, and in a brutal assualt on New York City, demanded that every country turn over control to him.

Though his original goals for building a better world and polical symptom may have been noble, his hunger for power has utterly corupted him to the point where he will easily obliterate cities without even a twitch of remorse.He refuses to do anything on a small scale; he likes his attacks and destruction to be on a big scale.He is totaly ruthless and without a conscience.

He wants two simple things, to take over the world with his COBRA organization and utterly destroy any resistance, especially the G.I. Joe team.Most dictators are hampered by the need to pretend that they are pursuiing a noble and just cause. Cobra commander doesn't have that problem, he has enough certainty that he is right to ignore and eliminate any dissenters
